Safeguarded sleep

"Nita is sound asleep, guarded by the last doe - Galia - who as time goes by turns herself more and more like an oak tree. The high priestss femwolf is been a beacon of light since the time of plenty, for all stray beasts and humans who where lost in the forest. Her light and warmth has calm down our friends, who are quietly resting by her side.

Now that the forest has almost swept away all human civilisation remains, the trees and animals have grew a new and more sentient conscience, and the spirits of the ancient woodland have reappeared...the little white Poldies, symbol of inocence. They mean no harm to Nita, they are simply curious to see a human in these so deep parts of the forest. "

We have to be very quiet as we watch this painting, not to scare the poldies and wake up Nita, who is terribly tired from the journey. ^^

(This illustration has been inspired in the numerous paintings, created by several artists of the renascence and victorian era of the girl sleeping in the forest, by the moonlight, and of course, in the Princess Mononoke Movie )

"Nita está a dormir, guardada pela última corça - Galia - que, com o passar do tempo se parece cada vez mais com um carvalho. A alta sacerdotisa loba tem sido um farol de luz desde a época da abundância, para todos os animais e seres humanos que se perdiam na floresta. A sua luz e calor acalmou os nossos amigos, que descansam calmamente ao seu lado.

Agora que a floresta varreu quase todos os restos de civilização humana, as árvores e os animais desenvolveram uma nova e mais sensível consciência, e os espíritos da floresta antiga reapareceram ... os pequenos Poldies brancos, símbolo da inocência. Eles não pretendem nenhum mal a Nita, estão simplesmente curiosos por ver um ser humano nestas regiões tão profundas da floresta."

Temos de estar muito calados enquanto observamos este quadro, para não assustar os poldies e acordar Nita, que está terrivelmente cansada da viagem. ^^
