I´m more of a "man" than you are!

This illustration came to my mind after a some funny situations with friends, about the strength of a woman nowadays, how the men are more relaxed about their masculinity, and of course, the result of a growing trend, one that I am greatly fan of: tattoing and piercing. Yes,this COULD be an exact picture of myself, minus all the tatoo. None the less, there is one that I DO have...hihi. The rest are all in my mind.

In a resume: this is one of my inner Selma, one of many and that I will illustrate all in the near future.

Esta ilustração veio à minha mente depois de algumas situações engraçadas com os amigos, sobre a força de uma mulher hoje em dia, como os homens são mais relaxados sobre sua masculinidade, e, claro, o resultado de uma tendência crescente, da qual eu sou fã: tattoing e piercing. Sim, esta poderia ser uma imagem exacta da minha pessoa, menos todas aquelas tatoos. No entanto, há uma que eu tenho ... hihi. O resto está tudo na minha mente.

Em resumo: esta é uma das minhas Selmas interiores, uma de muitas e que eu vou ilustrar num futuro próximo.

This is my special gift for the companion of a decade, my husband John.

Some of the things he loves, what makes his who he is.

His diploma of the Institution of Engineers, Iron Maiden, his labrador, surf, coastlines, motorcicles and eucalyptus. And me!

Este é o meu presente especial para um companheiro de uma década, o meu marido John. 
Algumas das coisas que ele gosta, o que faz dele aquilo que ele é. 
O seu diploma da Ordem dos Engenheiros, Iron Maiden, o seu labrador, surf, linhas de costa, motos e eucaliptos. E eu!

This is more or less true, of course. I would love to be in Paris right now...or London...
ou Oslo... well.

But right now I´m in my home-studio, where I can be free in my own right, between my four
walls of inspiration thingys.

Isto é mais ou menos verdade, é claro. Eu adoraria estar em Paris agora ... ou Londres ..  
ou Oslo ... bem. 

Mas agora eu estou na minha casa-estúdio, onde sou livre no meu próprio direito, entre as 
minhas quatro paredes e as minhas coisinhas inspiradoras.

 C'est plus ou moins vrai, bien sûr. J'aimerais être à Paris en ce moment ... ou Londres .. 
ou Oslo ... bien. 

Mais en ce moment je suis dans mon home-studio, où je peux être libre dans mon propre droit, entre mes quatre murs et petites choses d'inspiration.

A Mar - Tha Sea

Inspired in a Portuguese song "Song of the Sea" and lyrics - went dancing in my boat, far out in the sea, ruthless!...And the roaring sea said that I stole, the light from your eyes, so lovely.
Or is just me, living all my life right by the sea, and the river, and the fishing port, watching seagulls and fishing trawlers in the horizon.

Inspirado numa música Portuguesa"Canção do Mar" e letras - Fui bailar, no meu batel, alem no mar cruel, e o mar bramindo diz que eu fui roubar a luz sem par, do teu olhar tão lindo."

Ou então é de mim, porque vivi toda a minha vida junto ao mar e ao rio, e o porto de pesca, observando as gaivotas e traineiras no horizonte.

Inspiré d'une chanson portugais "Song of the Sea" et ses paroles -je dansais dans mon bateau, loin dans la mer, impitoyable ... Et la mer rugissante dit que j'ai volé, la lumière de vos yeux, si belle!.

Ou c'est juste moi, J'ai vécu toute ma vie en bord de mer et la rivière, et le port de pêche, en regardant les mouettes et les chalutiers à l'horizon.
